Onlyman is singer/songwriter Darren Robinson who formed the Wigan based band Jaywalker. Although short-lived, the band made Darren realised his songwriting potential and in 2002, he decided to move to London to make it as a solo performer. Citing Bruce Springsteen and Paul Weller as his main influences, Onlyman has a great ear for melody and is certianly not afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve. These qualities, coupled with his distinctive vocal, make up the unique Onlyman sound. Working with the uber hip production team Smooth Hound Sharks recently has given the music a distinctive feel.
