Susan began writing songs in her teens and has to date written over 400 songs. She began to take her music and performing more seriously around the age of 18 and started to perform live in music venues all over Scotland. She has had a fair amount of airplay on local radio and recorded some live sessions and interviews for the BBC. 2004 has seen Susan set up her own website http://www.susanmahoney.com where she hopes to reach her niche audience. As well as communicating to her fans via the internet, Susan has recorded a CD album containing various hits written and recorded over the last decade. The album is also available at her website. This album contains songs that are very dear to me, written about life, love, nature and the spiritual path. The songs are very melodic and there is a nice variety of differing moods and rhythms within an acoustic style. Future plans include recording her next album and live performances.
