The name “Machines That Lift Us Up” was inspired by the notion that although we do not live in a perfect world we have produced technology that has improved our lives. The music made using machines is just one instance where this has happened.  As well as making us feel good “in the moment” these machines are also involved in the evolution on life on earth. Not only does the increasing sophistication of machines reflect a growing sophistication of humankind, they also enable us to reach ever more greater and dazzling horizons. Of course the use of machines for “evil” ends is well documented.  However, I am attempting to create something that raises the appreciation and wonder involved in observing the world at large.  I want to follow this idea, and pay no attention to “evil”.  What you make your mind you make your life.
