NUBE formed in late 2000, when Jon (Guitarist/Knob Twiddler) met Natasha (Singer/ Songwriter) at a homegrown studio in Chelmsford. This chance encounter saw the collaboration of two minds that both wanted to create dark and melodious music using both live instrumentation and synthetic sounds.   After non stop writing NUBE had completed many studio based tunes using Logic Audio. The songs were evolving and had gained the attention of some important people. At this time NUBE felt that they should try and recreate their studio sound on stage to get the material heard by a larger audience.   In 2003 NUBE gained help from fellow musicians.... Barny (The Bassist) and Al (The Drummer). After constant practising they took their sound to the stage and raised many an eyebrow with both the strange sounds they were creating and the unique style in which they played.   With many London and local gigs under their belt NUBE had gained a good following and continued to write new material together. In 2004 Al left the band due to unforseen circumstances and after what seemed like forever.... an old friend named Graham came unexpectedly back into their lives to save the day!!   With Groove Drummer Graham now aboard a whole new sound was emerging and soon their new set was complete. Having played many gigs with the unheard material a new enthusiasm was created amongst the old and the new followers.   After several requests NUBE are currently recording, with samples on their way soon.
