Morrison are Sara
and Ian Morrison. We met in 1999 when Sara auditioned for a
band in which Ian was the guitarist. The band did not last,
but we did. We began performing as an act "officially"
in August 2001, as acoustic duo. Most of the songs were covers
of classic hits, with our own songs being introduced gradually.
We are now established performers on the Cambridge Singer-Songwriter
Circuit (wow!), and have also ventured to London, Edinburgh
and Prague. We have been described as "a talented, jazz-influenced
duo". We launched our first album "Here Today"
in May 2002, and the second "Falling Rising" in July
2003. Our albums sound like we are a (very large!) band since
we are both multi-instrumentalists, and that's the kind of music
we like to listen to. Our favourite artists are: Supertramp,
Huey Lewis & the News, ELO, Stevie Wonder, Dave Matthews
Band, Counting Crows and a load more. We enjoy exploring a variety
of different genres when it comes to writing and recording our
songs, thus we appear under pop as that is kind of in the middle
of it all! If you are listening to our tracks start with 12
