- Mixing Zen like tranquillity with skull shattering violence - - When we saw that written on a video box it seemed to summarise the kind of music we were writing. The director of the film was ' Beat ' Takeshi Kitano. As we began crafting our music, pulling in influences from Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, The Doors, Fugazi, Queen Adreena, Martin Grech & Nick Drake, one thing remained clear - diversity in sounds. In the years that followed the band has evolved to create its own, unique form of alternative music and each band member continues to develop it through their love of music and drive to be heard. - We are new, we are different, we are Beat Takeshi. 'Domicile' is Beat Takeshi’s 3rd demo instalment following the individual successes of the self titled 'Beat Takeshi' demo and the 'Amitriptyline' demo. Domicile is an upbeat demo that incorporates heavy, melodical guitars, deep melancholy vocals and intricate pounding drums.
