Ross is a 19 Year old singer/songwriter from Dundee, Scotland. He writes produces and records original compositions for the modern pop genre. In addition, to ensure he gets the results he intends he always plays all the instruments on the recordings. Some of the instruments he plays are-Guitar, Drums, Keyboard/Piano, Bass, Mandolin, Banjo. He has been writing songs since he was 12 years old and has been in a variety of bands since the age of 9. He feels having gained the experience at such a young age he now has the correct frame of mind and detyermination to pursue a career in the music industry. His musical influences vary from classic bands such as The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac etc… to more modern acts such as John Mayer, Badly Drawn Boy, Ben Folds and Coldplay. Furthermore, Ross plays guitar and sings in a local Dundee band along with writing songs with fellow band mate Iain Muir. When not promoting his own musical career, Ross writes songs for other up and coming local artists including Pop Idol 2003 entrant Ally Key - Winner of the Scottish "Pub Idol" competition, produces local bands demo's and teaches side drumming to children. During the day, Ross works for a computer games company as a Sound Designer, designing and implementing sound effects for worldwide releases.
