Shortway plays reactionary music.
While we remain mostly focused on rocking out, intellectuals and troglodytes alike can find refuge in our unique approach to heavy music.Stimulated by northwestern environments and world ideoligies we merge odd time signatures and perpetual groove with intelligently written, socially relevant lyrics over the years we have played numerous live shows in the Portland, OR area including festivals, clubs, warehouses, private parties, basements, and backyards. Whenever possible we have played these shows as benefits for both local and international causes, with plans to keep doing so. Whith the release of our first full length record, Stillpoint, we seek to broaden our reach touring by using the tools of touring and the internet.
