Please allow me to introduce to you an extraordinary new project: Jay Jii, a one-man musical force created by composer/singer/musician Jay Allen. His music can best be described as Gypsy Rock and features a dynamic blend of electronica, jazz, world music, and progressive rock.  Though extremely unique, this brash new sound has been likened to acts such as Radiohead and Beck. Allen is also the composer of a new form of computer classical music, which can now be heard on the last track of the CD.It is an intense piece of music called "Concerto No. 1 'The American Way.' " Jay first became interested in music at an early age, learning the tuba for his elementary school orchestra. By age eleven, he had moved on to singing and playing the guitar.  In junior high school, the music teacher proclaimed Jay a musical prodigy and advised him to pursue music at all costs. He then began learning to play an increasing variety of musical instruments.  After a stirring classical guitar performance of Tarrega's "Adelita" at his high school music recital, he received both a rousing ovation from the audience and the following accolade from acclaimed music professor W. Schneider:  "Jay is a musical virtuoso, and if he doesn't become a professional musician...I'll hunt him down and kill him!" Jay went on to study at Five Towns College where he majored in Jazz/Commercial Music. Jay Allen writes, produces, & engineers music in his own studio with over a 1000 compositions to his credit.
