California singer / songwriter, Trent Thomason,  entered the world of christian music in the late 90's when PETRA approached the keyboardist about joining the band.  Thomason was in the process of moving to Australia when the band approached him so he spent the time between homes thinking about his decision.  By July 1999, he had decided to go for it and joined the band for the 'Doubletake' album and tour.  During the downtime of the tour, Thomason began to consider his own solo release.  After careful thought, he decided to focus his energies toward his own material and started writing 'Hold Out Your Hands.' By 02, the record was done & he released it early that year.
