Some people know me as 'Parky', the lead guitarist of Platen, but since April '04, I have been doing solo gigs and writing catalogues of my own material. My influences include; John Frusciante, Jack Johnson, John Mayer, My Vitriol, Doves, Syd Barrett (& Pink Floyd), Incubus, Damien Rice, Ryan Adams, and many more. I write my own material and when playing live I prefer to play original songs but will throw in the occasional cover such as 'Angie' by Rolling Stones, 'Time After Time' by Cyndi Lauper, 'My Hero' by Foo Fighters and Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd.
