Singer-songwriter Doug Peters has been playing his own brand of acoustic
prog-folk to audiences in the UK since the early 1990s, where the
musical side of his life developed in the pubs and clubs of Hull in
East Yorkshire. Writing and performing deeply personal pieces and
bringing them to life again using a variety of acoustic and folk styles,
Doug is at home in the cosy folk pub or sharing the open mic stage
with fellow musicians, and often performs at folk or pagan orientated
events. Doug cut his first CD “Sacred Water” in 2001, which was
reviewed in “Musician” magazine.
