The Elfin are a modern folk band with a mix of traditional tunes incorporated into their own unique sound. The Elfin was the name given to the Divine Spirit upon birth and so the name was apt for the birth of The Elfin Folk Band. This beautiful land is the source of inspiration for The Elfin and their pagan roots and this can be heard in our music with tracks such as Follow-the-Ley, The Ash and Magic; and tracks that bring out our true heritage such as Pirates Song and Islander. The Elfin are a well gigged band and have played all over the South at esteemed gigs such as The Beggars Fair Festival in Romsey, the Swanage Folk Festival and the Weymouth Oyster Festival. The Elfin are a band that like to have a lot of fun and bring enjoyment to people from all parts of the country and whether you see them in a small pub or on a large festival stage, you can be certain that a fully entertaining and enjoyable night will be had by all. The Elfin comprise of Vocals, Guitars (electric and acoustic), Flute and Whistles, Bass, Bouzouki, Drums and often an array of guest appearances, all of which are played with a true passion and feeling, which can be seen at all live performances.
