"Baldego is one-man band J.J. McGowan.
Initially starting out as a guitar player, he learned his trade in various
bands, playing gigs in and around Glasgow with a slot at T-In-The-Park in
2003. Influenced by the likes of Led Zeppelin, Muse, Radiohead, Hendrix,
Copelandia Cyanescens, Bill Hicks, New Falcon publications and a cast of
thousands, Baldego was born. Escape Hatch is a collection of songs recorded
over the last year, inspired by trips to inner and outer spaces. It's a rocky,
trippy, groove-based sound, but you can contrast and compare it
yourself....check it out."
