Solarise Records
We are a totally Independent resource backed and funded by only ourselves not corporate and consider to be on the same level as the beginning or struggling Artistes, appreciating and understanding the problems and dilemmas the Artistes can face.
We have been there! Still are!! 
This site contains no bull, Pop Up Adverts, fancy gimmicks or tricks, password log-ons, just the Artistes, their music and films, how we like it and want it to continue.

Our aim is to create a friendly online Independent music and Film community for Artists, Music & Film lovers across the globe. We are going to promote the web-site by taking out adverts in magazines, flyering and continue finding extensive Web-links to music, film promotion sites throughout the web to get Solarise and most importantly the Artists / Producers noticed, at worst hopefully selling and distributing the Artists Music / Film making you some money, spreading your gospel and without you having to lift a finger.

Solarise Records consists of 2 domains.<br>

This Solarise Records web-site is made up of of 2 main sections.

Music:
1-Firstly we are an online Independent Record Label who's aim is to help showcase, promote, release and sell the music of any talented, original, Independent artists from any genre, from any country. Our plans are to release CD compilations consisting of selected tracks from all the artists in particular genres once the quality is there.

For the music we prefer only original music on the site, to show off talent!! (All cover songs which 2 are allowed maximum per CD, need to supply a copy of the rights or no acceptence) by you the music Artist/s. 
All material on the website is reviewed by us for quality, not anything is accepted, we have to like it first, either by online samples or a posted demo. We accept home made music as long as the sound quality is good enough, so you dont have to have a superbly prfessional completed CD.
Also if your an Independent record label yourself and you want all the sales of your releases taken out of your hands then why not use us? Just direct all your sales to us and we can distribute it for you.

Films:
2-Secondly we are creating an UK based Independent DVD film section for you all to browse through, read more about this below under the Film Information section.

For the Films, we are looking for all types of Independent DVD films (uk produced only) like shorts, documentaries, extreme sports etc etc to create an Indie film community on the site, no porn or ridiculous violence accepted.
All Films to be featured on the site have to be reviewed by us for suitability, we have to like it first. So we would need to recieve a posted demo for viewing. Read the rest information on the page about putting your production on Solarise.

When you join this Solarise web-site, whether your an Independent Musician or Film Producer, you will receive the following benefits: 1-Music Artists: A web page on the Solarise site and you are included into the Solarise indie community. Worldwide exposure on the web for music surfers to check you out if they find you, including a top high google ranking. You will have your own Page URL (eg.-www.solariserecords.com/artists/genre/yourname.com) where you are allowed to sell 2 different CD titles on your page, either albums, Eps or singles, with a maximum 16 tracks on a 1 CD title at the sale prices that you specify. A chance to get one of your tracks selected for possible full CD releases from the Solarise site. If you are based outside Europe it could be a UK base for you. Use Solarise as a safe and secure place to base you and your music, if your in the UK point your sales to solarise and have your CDs distributed for you without you lifting a finger, cutting out the middle men! We will do it all for you possibly earning you some money. Our site is constantly being linked throughout the music community, other talent spotters may find you, we regularly have A & Rs surfing through. Your Page will show a text biography or information from you in your words, a max of 3 photos of you, a CD Cover photo. Track listings with listenable samples in Realplayer format of which you choose. Realplayer Samples - CD's with 1-8 tracks (5 Samples), 9-12 tracks (6 Samples), 13-15 tracks (7 Samples). Samples will only be 1 minute long and not in full, which is to protect your song and its copyright and is also to stop people just downloading one of your whole tracks in full, never coming back and not buying or going away and maybe copying lyrics etc. There will also be any contact details of how to reach you and a link to your web-site if you have one which we expect a link bank to Solarise on. People around then who like your music will then be able to buy the CD online using Secure Credit Card Shopping and other ways. We will also set up a counter, guestbook on your page for visitors and feedback. If you take a look at any artists page on here you will see the layout that you will recieve, which may explain it better. Upon the sale of any of your material there will be a 70/30 split (excluding post & packaging) of the sale price with 70% being in your favour! Which will be paid to the Artists in a monthly format. In either �Sterling, $US Dollars or Euros only. There is no copyright over you or your music, we don't own the copyright on your music as you will see when you read the non exclusive agreement, you can sell promote or do whatever you want to with your music other than be on this site. If you are an Independent Label, your welcome to put your Artists on here, could be good exposure for you. Hopefully if any labels find you and sign you up through us then we have done our job! All we ask for is a mention and for you to notify us. If your interested in joining the MP3 site with your music then please go to the website (www.solariserecords.co.uk) to read all the instructions there as they are slightly different. Remember you can join both sites as one package please read the Join Us page for more info. 2-Film Producers: A web page on the Solarise site and you are included into the Solarise indie community. Worldwide exposure on the web for music and film surfers to check you out if they find you, including a top high google ranking. You will have your own Page URL (eg.-www.solariserecords.com/films/genre/filmnamename.com) where you are allowed to sell as many titles on Solarise as you want as each title gets its own page, all you will have to do is fill in an agreement for each title. Use Solarise as a safe and secure place to base you and your Films, point your sales to solarise and have your DVD's distributed for you without you lifting a finger, cutting out the middle men! We will do it all for you possibly earning you some money with at least giving you promotion. Our site is constantly being linked throughout the web film community, other talent spotters may find you! Your page will show a Film biography or information from you in your words as long as you want, 8 still photos of the Film supplied by you at a size of 150w * 120h, a DVD pic Cover photo, running time, DVD region, producer and company info, film title and a reviews text section. There will also be any contact details of how to reach you and a link to your site if you have one which we expect a link bank to Solarise, so people can view more info on you or if you have film clips on your own site (we will not be hosting any film clips you can place a link direct to film sample clips on your site). People surfing around then who like your Film will then be able to buy the DVD online using Secure Credit Card Shopping and other ways. We will also set up a counter, guestbook on your page for visitors and feedback if required. If you take a look at any artists page on here you will see the layout that you will recieve, which may explain it better. Upon the sale of any of your material there will be a 60/40 split (excluding post & packaging) of the sale price with 60% being in your favour! Which will be paid to you in a monthly format. There is no copyright over you or your Films, we don't own the copyright on your Films as you will see when you read the non exclusive Film agreement, you can sell promote or do whatever you want to with your Film other than be on this site. The films have to be min 5 mins long, then conatct us first so we can discuss the situation as were open to most ideas, no porn or ridiculous violence accepted.

Look out for the Solarise Records logo (left) on any artists page, which will indicate they have featured on one of our compilation releases from the site.

Read the following Info on how to join Solarise if your a music Artist or Film producer: Music Artist: If your interested in joining the MP3 site with your music then please go to the website (www.solariserecords.co.uk) to read all the instructions there as they are slightly different. Remember you can join both sites as one package please read the joining us section. **No Music or Agreements by E-mail please, it will be ignored** Remember, all material on the website is reviewed by us for quality, not anything is accepted! So you can either send us a demo first for approval, or you can have your music somewhere on the web for us to listen to. We only accept and use music in CD format other formats will be ignored. When you have been given the OK to join us, there are few steps, all are on the Music Join Us page. Solarise does not complete any printing, duplicating or design of any CD's for any artist, thats down to you. You have to at least have a label on the CD to be accepted, no blank CDr's and it has to be of good sound quality, we will refuse any CDs that arrive who want to join that do not fit the criteria. It is a good idea to also put a return address on your parcel just in case of it becoming lost in the parcel system. Don't forget to get a receipt for your posting, (Air Mail if outside of UK) in case the parcel goes missing and you can then claim. Also make sure that your CD's are packaged properly, not loose as some have arrived in damaged cases which we wont accept. We also expect either a text or banner link to be put on your Web-Site once joined explaing where your product is. We will not pass any of your details, music on to any other third parties or lists unless you let us, so you will not get any unexpected contacts. If anyone contacts us enquiring about you we will not act on your behalf unless you want us too and we will inform you asap. Remember you are allowed up to 2 CD titles on your page, If your only supplying one, you can add your second at any time just fill another agreement when sending your second. If you want to change any CDs when you already have 2 on your page, there is a standard �12 fee. Film Producers: **No Film samples or Agreements by E-mail please, it will be ignored** The films have to be min 5 mins long, no porn or ridiculous violence accepted. Remember, all Films on the website are reviewed by us for quality, not anything is accepted! So you can either send us a demo first for approval, or you can have your Films in sample format somewhere on the web for us to look at. When you have been given the OK to join us, there are few steps, all are on the Film Join Us page. Here are the instructions on how Independent Music or Films to join the Solarise Indie family. 1-Music: Remember you can join both the Solarise websites as one package please read the join us page for more info. Joining The CD Site: There is a one off Joining fee. This fee basically helps to cover the design of the page, shopping cart, music file exchanges and uploading of your files etc. Any Artists who thinks they should not pay to put there music anywhere have to appreciate we are Independent and the fee just helps to keep the site running. It also does take our time and effort and its only a minimal one off fee! The Joining Fee for this site is as follows: UK �15, US $22, Europe 22 Euros. If you pay the fee on the shopping cart and are from outside the UK it may be one or two units more than this as we go on the daily exchange rates. You can pay the fee on the Credit Card Facility (Go Shopping button on menu), under the joining fee button. This is the preferred way for you to pay the joining fee, which you can pay when your package aarrives and we contact you (we expect you to pay the fee within a week of your parcel arriving). If you cant pay by credit card, we only accept 3 currencies for you to pay by cheque, �Sterling, $US, Euros (We don't accept any joining fees paid in cash). If you are from another country you need to get your money converted to one of the 3 currencies, whichever suits you. You can pay direct into our bank account (There may be a fee in your bank for this) You can also send International Money Orders in one of the these currencies. If you join and have 2 CD's on your page and want to change any of the CD's to new ones, there is a fee of �15 required. Then you also need to re-sign another agreement stating all about the new music. We can only pay royalties of any sale in the three currencies, UK�, US $,Euros 2-Films: There is no joining fee for Films, the rules and royalties are different, please read about us and joining benefits for Films The films have to be min 5 mins long, no porn or ridiculous violence accepted.

The Solarise website is split into 2 parts for purchasing any of the items displayed on here. 1-The main site (where you are now) which contains all the main content. 2-There is the Secure Credit Card Facility, we made this seperate from the site purposely! The Secure Credit Card Facility is the place you can purchase any of the Items featured on this Web-site. At any time you can access the Cart by pressing the 'Go Shopping' button on the navigation menu at the top right hand side of all pages. The cart will then open in a new window which is secure for you to complete any transactions (may not work in opera browsers). Max of �25 only in one order by credit card. If you look at any item on solarise (CD's, DVD's, merchandise etc) underneath there is a Catalogue Number. When you go to the shopping cart remember this. On the Cart all the Artists are split into the different Genres along with the Films and Merchandise so you have to find the Item again using the navigation and following the instructions. All transactions are taken in UK � Sterling. The banking facilities are supplied curtosy of Netbanx.

Fee is preferred to be paid via credit card but If the signing fee is in Cheque, we only accept it in US $ or Euro's
